The Last Drop Village Hotel & Spa is a collection of 17th-century farmhouses with breathtaking views of the West Pennine Moors. The hotel features a traditional restaurant, luxury spa, complimentary parking with 460 spaces and free WiFi.

The Courtyard Restaurant serves classic British cuisine and an extensive wine list. Courtyard Bar offers a range of cocktails, light snacks and beverages, and room service is also available.

The Village Spa offers a range of ESPA luxury treatments. Spa facilities usage is based on a 50 minute timeslot for the Thermal Journey and 50 minute slot Swimming Pool. Nice venue, great staff, eat elsewhere

Really friendly and helpful staff. Environment and rooms are clean, well presented and perfect for our needs.

The quality of the food lets the venue down, especially at the prices they are charging. For example a lunchtime panini had never seen a panini machine, it had been microwaved. The filing was one slice of ham and a sprinkling of shredded cheese that was hardly melted. This wouldn't meet my expectations at any price, certainly not at close to £10. If they could improve the quality of the food it might warrant the prices and would then get a 5 star rating from me. Its a shame the nice views have been lost to the housing estate b ut thats beyond their control.

Very Good

All staff were very genuinely friendly and helpful. Spa facilities were and the bar and restaurant area was very nice. We were in one of the chalet block rooms on the upper floor at first glance it reminded me of a posh Butlins but the interior of room was very modern stylish and bathroom had clearly been refurbished to a high standard.

My meal on Friday night was cold and I had to send it back

Very Good

Since we last visited 7 years ago, we can see that there has been a lot of good refurbishment to rooms and the spa area. Our stay was enjoyable and relaxing.

The shower tray in our room needs some attention as it has a problem with drainage.

Pleasant with friendly staff.

Nice location. Nice bar area. Staff exceptional.

Paying a premium for the dog and being put in a ‘Dog room’ which is less convenient and comfortable as the hotel rooms. Having to go through 3 areas to get breakfast and take it to the allocate space to eat it. So two trips to get breakfast for two people as someone has to stay with dog.

For an all inclusive price you get a lot!

Spa and breakfast included great price and lovely little chalet style room

The spa photographer didn’t a great job and on our first night the water was cooler than it should have been in the pool which because it’s outside felt really cold (fixed the next day) the jacuzzi bubble vent had a leak so it was really loud and throwing cold air out when the bubbles were on and some of the therapy rooms weren’t open not enough to put us off staying again just an FYI for future guests

Breakfast was excellent and leisure facilities were very good, plus management dealt efficiently with a cleanliness problem we experienced.

The cleanliness of our room was very poor, but the management did deal with it efficiently.

Steam room and jacuzzi were great. Good to have swimming pool and gym. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Dog friendliness.

Upon arriving, it’s a nice scenery hotel.

Dirty carpets and it is virtually impossible to get signal in the room I stayed in - room no 57! Even though the hotel provide free WiFi, you would have to go in a certain part of the room for your phone to pick up the WiFi. Even then, it cuts off - major improvement needed from the hotel on the WiFi in different parts of the hotel.

Excellent food.

Excellent food. Lovely spa. Nice bar area to relax.

Room was in need of an update and lick of Paint. Pub closed both days we were there due to private parties. Children in spa changing rooms but not in family area, young girls in men's and young boys in ladies.

A lovely hotel

The building is very interesting, a lovely bar, dining room, reception and the courtyard is very pretty with rooms around it as was ours. Our room was lovely, tea coffee, a shortage of a bath towel my only complaint. The bedding was beautiful, a great night's sleep. Breakfast was delicious, fruit, cereal, full English toast juice tea coffee, great black pudding.very welcoming and attentive breakfast room staff. We had a problem in that someone had been sick outside our door!! Not pleasant, I called reception at midnight when we returned to our room, they came out immediately and cleaned it up. Very good speedy customer care.

We didn't get 2 towels in the bathroom, as it was only 1 night we didn't make a fuss, we shared. I requested to gain entry to the room 1 hour before check in, I was told I could do this bit it would be at a cost of £20,i thought this was a bit steep. So I didn't do this. On arrival other guests we're telling us they got in their room early at no extra cost!! We we're all going to a wedding in Bolton, I merely wanted to freshen up before hand.. Disappointing.
